Angela N Ikeme, DNP, MSN, RN, NE-BC
Dr. Angela Ikeme holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with an emphasis in Executive Leadership and a Masters in Nursing Education. She holds a California Registered Nurse License and has spent over 30 years in clinical and administrative nursing. She is a professor at the University of San Francisco, California, a Health Center Manager overseeing over 16 primary care and specialty clinics in Northern California, and a provost of a College of Nursing she co-founded. She advocates for high-quality education for nurses, ensuring that nurses learn and provide evidence-based, quality, and safe patient care. She holds a Nurse Executive Board
Certified. She also promotes improved Nursing education for student nurses, especially those in low-income countries such as Nigeria. She is committed to building community through partnership and collaboration, hence her love and commitment to implementing a College of Nursing that delivers high-quality nursing education to students at Merit College of Nursing Sciences Orlu, Imo State, Nigeria, where she is a co-founder and the Executive Provost. She is a
published author, a compassionate, passionate, transformational leader, an advocate for equity and social justice, a mentor, and an entrepreneur. She is an enthusiastic and authentic leader with a strong passion and respect for others. She belongs to several professional and community organizations, such as the American Nurses Association, the National Association of Nigerian
Nurses in North America, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society.
