Abdullah Abbas Kendoush has completed his PhD at the age of 30 years from Strathclyde University (UK) in 1976 and was a Chief Scientist at the Iraqi Atomic Energy Commission and the Ministry of Sciences and Technology in Baghdad. He taught at the Universities of Baghdad, Al-Mustansiryah, Al-Nahrain, and the University of Technology. He was a visiting professor at the University of Florida in 2006 and then a post doctoral fellow at Georgia Institute of Technology. He is Editor of Journal of Engineering. Currently, he teaches nuclear engineering technology at Augusta Technical College, Augusta, Georgia, USA. He has published more than 60 papers in reputed journals and conferences and has been serving as an editorial board member of some journals. He is a member of ASME.

Luis Vargas is a civil electrical engineer from the University of Chile and a doctor in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada. He is a Full Professor at the University of Chile and an academic at the Department of Electrical Engineering. He has held the positions of head teacher, coordinator of external projects and director of the Department of Electrical Engineering, among others. The main focus of Dr. Vargas research has been in the areas of the Electrical Energy Market Analysis and Regulation, Effects of Climate Change on Power Systems, and New and Renewable Energy Integration to Interconnected Power Systems. In these fields Dr. Vargas has published over 100 technical papers in high ranked international journals and international conferences. He is also author and coauthor of 6 books, and has published chapters and selected articles in 8 books.. He has promoted the renewable energy minor at the faculty and has held highly relevant positions in the electrical sector.

Georgios Priniotakis is full Professor in the lab of Innovative Textile Technologies for Multifunctional Garments in UNIWA and head of Department of Industrial Design and Production Engineering of University of West Attica in Athens GREECE. He holds a PhD in Textiles Sensors, 2005 (Simulation of human body behaviour during sweat production measured at textile electrodes). He is the representative of UNIWA in AUTEX and IAF. Ex. National Representative of Greece to boards and committees in the activities of the European Research Area and its cooperation with intergovernmental organizations in embedded systems. Referee in many Scientific Journals and Scientific committee in Conferences. Representative from Greece of COST Action CA17107, European Network to Connect Research and Innovation Efforts on Advanced, Smart Textiles. Scientific responsible of many research projects funded by EU, as LEONARDO, MEDA, EQUAL, PEOPLE, TEMPUS-JPHES, ERASMUS+ Programme – KEY Action 2, COST in the last 20 years. He has an adequate international teaching experience.

Prof. Shunli Wang is a Doctoral Supervisor, Academic Dean, Academic Leader of the National Electrical Safety and Quality Testing Center, Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Provincial Senior Overseas Talent, Provincial level scientific and technological talents, Academic and Technical Leader of China Science and Technology City, and top 2% of top scientists in the world, who is an authoritative expert in renewable energy research. His research interests include modeling, state estimation, and safety management for energy storage systems. 56 projects have been undertaken, including the projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Provincial Science and Technology Department. 258 research papers have been published (Research Interest Score: 11547; Citations: 3167; h-index: 29). 53 intellectual property rights have been applied, of which 23 authorizations have been approved. 9 books have been published by famous publishers such as Elsevier and IET. 23 honorary titles or awards have been achieved, such as young scholars and leading experts of innovative talent teams. Aurica Farcas has a background in organic chemistry and leads a research group focused on the development of supramolecular organic semiconductors useful as optoelectronic materials. She received a doctorate degree in Polymer Chemistry from Petru Poni Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry (ICMPP) Iasi-Romania in 1998. Afterwards shewasa post-doctoral fellow in the group of Professor Silvia Janietz at Fraunhofer Institute for Angewandte Polymerforschung, Golm-Germanyin semiconducting organic materials (2001). Then, she continued her training with Professor Harry W. Gibson at Virginia Polytechnic Institute& State University Blacksburg–USA, and Professor Helmut Ritter at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf-Germany, where the work was focused on the synthesis of supramolecular conjugated materials. Since 2006, she has been invited professor/collaborator at the University d’Evry(France), Jacobs University (Germany) and CYCergy Paris Université (France). Her interests also include solution-based synthesis of supramolecular conjugated polymers and their interactions with biological entities, activities that are instrumental for future applications in the field of nanobiotechnology. She is senior-author of more than 70 research articles published in ISI-indexed journals, and is also author of two books on conjugated polyrotaxanes, and six book chapters. She has been the recipient of 40 national and international research grants, and has submitted 21 patent applications, out of which three are employed in industry.

Dr. Hickson is an experienced geothermal resource development expert. She received her PhD from the University of British Columbia in 1987 focusing on the subglacial volcanoes of Wells Gray Provincial Park, BC. However, her career in geothermal started as a summer student with the Geological Survey of Canada (GSC) where in 1981 she joined the surveys geothermal program doing downhole temperature measurements as well as field mapping. She spent the next 25 years of her career as a Research Scientist with the GSC. In 2008, she left government and joined Magma Energy Corp. (now Alterra Power Corp.) as VP Exploration and Chief Geoscientist. She led the companys exploration and advanced resource assessments globally, spending significant time on projects in Chile, Iceland, Italy, Peru and USA. She continues to work actively in geothermal exploration and development to this day. Catherine is a registered professional geoscientist with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC) and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). She served as an EGBC Council member from 2017 to 2019 and has also been a member of EGBCs Geoscience Committee (2018 to 2022), the Credentials Committee (2018-2021), the Professional Practice Advisory Group (2017-2018), and the Nominating Committee (2013- 2015). Catherine is currently a member of the Engineering Experience Assessment Panel.

Prof. Donghai Xu is a national-level young talent and doctoral supervisor. He has presided over 11 national and provincial scientific research projects, including the international cooperation project of National Key Research and Development Plan (as the chief scientist) and three National Natural Science Foundations, etc. He has published more than 150 SCI papers (with six ESI papers and 72 first/corresponding author papers). His representative papers are published in Journals such as Renew Sust Energ Rev, Chem Eng J, Grean Chem, Water Res, Appl Energ, Corros Sci, and AIChE J. His papers have been cited more than 3000 times and his personal H-factor is 33. He has published four books in Chinese and English. He has been authorized 56 Chinese invention patents and two American invention patents. He was a member of the New Energy Expert Group of the China Energy Society, and an Executive Director of the National Association of Analytical and Applied Thermal Cracking Academics, and the guest editor of an international journal (i.e., Journal of Analytical and Applied Pyrolysis). He has won the Gold Medal of the 8th International Invention Exhibition, the Excellence Award of China Patent, and the first Prize of Science and Technology Award of Shaanxi Higher Education Institutions. He is a member of Xi'an Jiaotong University “Young Top Talent Support Program” Category A, and enters the annual influence list of the world's top 2% top scientists in 2022 and 2023.

Dr. Xie main research activities lie in aircraft environment control with his interdisciplinary expertise in CFD analysis, structural design and control technology. His research interests also include loop heat pipe, phase change energy storage technology, heat exchanger and renewable energy. His work in Electronics Cooling is internationally recognised. He is proactively consulting and collaborating widely in industry. A wide range of his projects have been funded by NSFC, China Aviation Fund and industry.

Bijan Rahmani, born in Hamedan, Iran, excelled academically from an early age. He earned his Master's degree in 2011 from K.N. Toosi University of Technology, ranking first among his peers. Pursuing his passion for electrical power systems, Bijan pursued a Ph.D. at Harbin Institute of Technology, graduating in 2017. Since then, he has been employed as a Big Data Analysis and Signal Processing Engineer at TVT lab in China, where he applies his expertise to various projects. Bijan's primary interest lies in FMCW radar designs, and his work in this area has led to significant advancements in radar technology. His journey reflects a steadfast commitment to excellence, innovation, and the pursuit of knowledge in the fields of electrical engineering and data analysis.

Prof. Zia Ullah (Ph.D. EE) is an overseas high-level talent Associate Professor introduced by Shanxi University and an expert scholar who has been engaged in progressive scientific research. His research direction includes power control, power system optimization, distribution system planning analysis, and optimization of renewable energy, DGs, EVs & hybrid integrated systems. Amr Radwan (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc.(hons.) degree in electrical engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2007, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada, in 2012 and 2016, respectively. His research interests include the areas of smart active distribution systems and control of power electronic converters. Dr. Radwan is Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Engineering and Design Department, Western Washington University, Bellingham, WA, USA. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada.

Dr. Shirley Thompson is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Environment, Earth and Resources, University of Manitoba and the Principal Investigator with the Mino Bimaadiziwin partnership. Dr. Dush Nalin Jayakody, a Sri Lankan, received the B. Eng. degree (with first-class honors) was ranked as the merit position holder of the University (under SAARC Scholarship). He was also ranked as the best foreign student in Pakistan. He received his MSc degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Eastern Mediterranean University, Turkey (under the University full graduate scholarship) and ranked as the first merit position holder of the department. He received the Ph. D. degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, from the University College Dublin, Ireland under the supervision of Prof. Mark Flanagan (under the Science Foundation Ireland Grant). From 2014- 2016, he has held Postdoc position at the Coding & Information Transmission group, University of Tartu, Estonia and University of Bergen, Norway. From 2016-2021, he was a Professor at the School of Computer Science, National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University, Russia. Dr. Jayakody is a Senior Member of IEEE and IET Fellow, and he has served as session chair or technical program committee member for various international conferences, such as IEEE PIMRC 2014, IEEE WCNC 2014/2016, IEEE VTC 2015 etc. He is currently an Associate Professor at the University Autonoma de Lisboa , Portugal. Melese Astatke is currently a PhD candidate at the Graduate Institute of Digital Learning and Education, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. Neway Belachew Tadesse is a distinguished chemist, having earned his Ph.D. from Andhra University with a specialization in inorganic and analytical chemistry. During his doctoral studies, Neway's research focused on the synthesis of nanostructured and graphene composites for energy and catalysis applications, showcasing his innovative approach to tackling pressing global challenges.
